Hello, I'm looking forward to looking through your website which I came to (I'm a Baptist, too) after "googling" Russell Creek following a program on AFA Channel (American Family Associaton) on Sky Angel Network - a family left the city and moved to "Russell Creek." Now I don't know if this was the same Russell Creek as yours is but I shall find out. Still, what I see of your site I do want to learn more. Thank you that it is set up attractively and invitingly. And God bless your ministry - I am putting it on my prayer list.

Dear friends. Please pray for our nine-year-old ministry -- www.tjlit.org (Testifying Jesus’ Love in Truth).
We make free resumes, teach free English weekly, and do free translations/interpretations in 17 languages to any church or organization that asks us to. We also give out 3000 tracts each week, and we get people who are abused, have mental illness and other problems into churches and places where they can receive help, and get kids into free dentists.
We love the Lord, and love the ministry he has blessed us with. We are deeply committed to fighting racism and poverty.
Please send us your prayers (Email: reachus@tjlit.org.), and pass our site to friends, missionaries and family, as there are many who are lonely.
At the moment we are trying to set up a pen pal club so people from all over can write to others and develop friendships.
Nobody should be lonely. If you read this and are lonely, please contact us and we will do our best to get you into a good church wherever you are in the world.
Please also click on and read the Bible verse of the day, and say a prayer for us.
Is there anyway we can help you? Please contact us.
Praise God, contact us if you are lonely, and God bless you.

To our American friends: Please read article 51 on our site “Things I love about America.”

Dear Saints, hope this Gospel Letter will bless you all.

We are reaching out to Christians, we send out every mouth on web site www.evangelistbillybolitho.blogspot.com our latest Gospel Letters which the Lord has given us we offer them to you free, in Jesus name.

God said to Israel

If thou shalt say in thy heart these nations are more than I, then how can I dispose of them? If we say our problem is greater than what Jesus did for us at Calvary, then we are not walking in faith. Our problem might be sickness, sin or financial, but whatever it may be, we are to trust God to bring us through. For the Bible says, “ Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” So, confess God’s Word, stand on God’s Word and see yourself delivered. The Ark will keep out the water, the Red Sea will part, Goliath will fall, the walls of Jericho will come tumbling down, because Jesus Christ has risen, He has won the victory. So, child of God, have faith, live by faith, for Jesus said,
“I will never leave you or forsake you”.
Soon this life will past only what is done for Christ will last. www.evangelistbillybolitho.blogspot.com

Dear Brethren in Christ,
Who I am ? Bro. Michael Shirley, I am 47 years old , I have had a call on my heart to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ for about 14 years. I started college at the age of 33 for the sole purpose of obtaining a college degree with a master in religion , then afterwards going on to seminary. At that time I surrended to the calling of God to preach the gospel , I was a member of a small United Methodist Church in North Georgia. Almost immediately our local district superintendent came to hear me preach at my home church. He then ask me to consider taking a student pastor position in middle Ga. While I attended college. I was eager to take his offer and thankful to God for God opening the door so quickly. Nothing is impossible for God so I should have not been surprised. I was a full time student and full time pastor for 2 years. Those 2 years had been the most rewarding and challenging years of my life. Since leaving the United Methodist Church in 1995 I have experienced some very difficult and hurtful changes in my life.First of all my wife and I split up after 19 years of a stressful marriage. That begin the most difficult time thus far in my life. I was hurt deeply by people in the church where I was currently attending. This lead me to a point of just wanting to give up and quit. For 4 to 5 years following I stopped going to church, studying the Word and wanted nothing to do with the church. During that time like anyone one does who is out of the will of God I made some bad decisions and have suffered painful consequences for those decisions. Deep down in my heart and soul God would not allow me to forget and act as if I had never been called to preach the Gospel. In 2002 God's Grace intervened in my life. It was by Gods loving intervention that I was re-introduced to my high school love. We now have been married almost 3 years and God has done marvelous work in our lives. We currently are members of a independent Baptist church in North Georgia where my Father-in-law is my pastor. God has mended a lot of hurts and answered a lot of questions and prayers in the last 3 years. Over these past 3 years the burning desire has raged more than ever to preach and teach and pastor a family of Gods people. However I am caught in a difficult situation while my father -in-law loves me deeply and I love him deeply , we have some different beliefs and convictions concerning my preaching or pastoring, given the fact that I have been divorced. I love him as my pastor and respect his convictions deeply and would do nothing to hurt him or his 40 years plus in the ministry. He is like my dad and I love him so much. He just does not believe in being divorced and pastoring and I respect his beliefs.I do feel however after much studying and praying and talking to other pastors that once God has called someone he can never get away or give up that calling. Its practically all I think about everyday. The desire to preach , pastor , and teach fills every part of my life everyday. My wife has totally surrendered to the fact that God has called me and supports me with all her heart. We desperately want to serve as God would lead us wherever that might be.
What I Believe:
I believe the Bible is the inspired ,infallible word of God
I believe all of us are borne into sin, through the fall of original man in the garden of Eden
I believe that God the father sent his only begotten Son into the world to save the world, to redeem man kind , to restore fellowship into a lost sin sick world.
I believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah who was born of a virgin, crucified , resurrected and is coming again
I believe that in Christ mankind can be Saved wash cleaned by his blood, redeemed , restored, forgiven, and brought back into a right relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ. Know matter where you've been what you look like how deep in sin you have fallen Jesus Christ is the answer to every problem and heart break that the devil (the enemy) can throw at us. Jesus said ( I have overcome the world) !!!
I believe in a literal Heaven
I believe in a literal hell
I believe that through Jesus he is the only way to determine our eternal destiny.
I belive in eternal security for those that are truly saved.
I believe the Word of God is to be read , studied and lived out everyday, not just during worship service.
I believe in in depth study to grow in knowledge and understanding of what the bible really teaches before a doctrine is excepted and practiced.

I Do Not Believe that denomination is what God considers important.
Yet I do believe we must know Why we believe what we say we believe. That knowledge comes only through study, prayer, and a deep devotion to the inerrant word of God
My God given desire is to see the Lost Saved ,the wayward brought back home, the hurting healed, and the broken given hope and restoration through the convicting and comforting power of the Holy Spirit. The word of God clearly teaches that we are all ambasadors for Christ. Therefore knowing this we all have a responsibility to share the truth of the Gospel.
My burning desire and dream is that the Love of God would be manifested through my life to love and help lead people to Christ.
I may never be considered by man as nothing but a failure . Yet I know in the eyes of God I'm forgiven and loved unconditionally.
I may never be considered for a position as your pastor , or anywhere else-but even though I am told no over and over. By the Grace of God I will not give up the calling God has placed in my heart and soul.
I love the Lord Jesus Christ , He is my Savor and Redeemer. My dream is to preach the Gospel of Christ and my calling is to Please God and live and work till he calls me home. I have never written an email or letter like this before so please excuse the length and the ramblings, but its nessary for me to share my heart concering Gods will for my wife and I.
May God bless you in your search for the right man of God for your church family. Stay in constant prayer, with open hearts and minds that God will send the right man to lead his people .
Love From Your Brother In Christ,
Michael W. Shirley

Dear Friends,

My husband Earl Pinkston, was born and raised in Harrodsburg, Kentucky and now we serve as missionaries in Malta. This year we are holding the fourth annual "International Day of Prayer for the Maltese Islands" and we are calling on our fellow Kentuckians to join us in interceding for the Maltese people. For more information about this prayer effort and how you can help, visit www.praymalta.org. Thank you!

Robin Pinkston for Team Malta

An International Event with Eternal Results

Believers worldwide are joining together on August 8th, 2005 for the fourth annual International Day of Prayer for the Maltese Islands. Located in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, the tiny island nation of Malta is a popular tourist destination with its warm weather, beautiful shorelines, and friendly people. You are invited to learn more about the Maltese islands and the hospitable people who once showed unusual kindness (Acts 28:1,2) to the Apostle Paul. Join in- your prayers make a difference!

Who is praying?
This effort is being coordinated by missionaries from the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in America but is open to all born again believers. It will also involve an inter-denominational prayer service of local churches in Malta.

Why August 8th?
Many believers use the popular "Operation World" publication by Patrick Johnstone to aid them in praying knowledgeably for countries around the globe. Malta is listed on August 8th, and therefore we chose to join in with those who were already praying on this day.

How can I be involved?
First, commit to join us personally and then encourage others to be a part of this international event with eternal results. All churches, prayer teams, and small groups are invited to join us in prayer. We are asking churches to use part of their service time on Sunday, August 7th to pray corporately, and then encourage their church members to pray individually or in small groups on Monday, August 8th.

A prayer guide and power point presentation are available to download from www.praymalta.org or you can request them by e-mail at pray@praymalta.org.
